MemberPress Registration Restrictions

Open registration is not always what a membership site needs. A training portal may be meant for employees, a course for students, and a forum for adults only. MemberPress Registration Restrictions gives you a way to set those boundaries at sign-up, so the people who register match the audience you built the site for.

The add-on works with MemberPress Pro and filters new registrations against the rules you define. You can allow or block by IP address or range, by email domain, or by individual email address, and you can require a minimum age. Email and domain checks ignore letter case, so a capital letter will not cause a false rejection.

Features

• IP address restrictions: Allow or block registrations from specific IP addresses or ranges. This helps you guard against fraudulent sign-ups and control access by location.
• Email domain filtering: Limit sign-ups to people whose email addresses come from approved domains, such as .edu for students. It suits student offers or access for a single organization.
• Specific email address control: Allow or block individual email addresses. You can add security around sensitive content or give access to a chosen group of VIP members.
• Minimum age requirements: Set a minimum age that people must meet when they register. This supports legal age restrictions and adult-only communities.
• Case-insensitive validation: Email and domain restriction checks ignore uppercase and lowercase differences, which avoids conflicts and errors when people type their details in different ways.
• Built for MemberPress Pro: The add-on is made for MemberPress Pro users and adds sign-up controls to the membership setup you already run, without extra complexity.
• Flexible membership scenarios: Use it for employee training platforms, premium content groups, VIP communities and age-sensitive forums, with access rules tailored to each audience.
