WP Job Manager User Locator

Job boards often ask visitors to type a location before they see anything useful. That extra step slows people down, and some leave before they search. This add-on handles it by using geolocation to find the visitor's current position and placing it in the location search field automatically.

It plugs into the WP Job Manager plugin, so it suits sites that already run their listings there. Visitors can search from their detected position or from a specified address, and the results are tailored to that locality. Settings let you adjust how location detection behaves, which helps you fit it to your audience and the kind of board you run.

Features

• Automatic location detection: The plugin reads the visitor's geographic position and fills in the location search field for them, so they do not have to enter anything by hand.
• Works with WP Job Manager: It is built as an add-on for the WP Job Manager core plugin, so it fits into the job search your site already uses.
• Search by address too: Job listings can be matched to the user's current position or to an address they specify, which gives people a choice about where they look.
• Localized job results: Visitors see listings relevant to their detected locality, which keeps results close to where they actually want to work.
• Adjustable detection settings: You can change the location detection parameters to suit your website and the people who use it.
• Desktop and mobile support: Location detection is designed to work across devices, so visitors on phones and computers get the same auto-filled search.
• Privacy-minded design: The plugin is built to respect user privacy while still providing location-based search for your job listings.
