Easy Digital Downloads - Social Login

Many shoppers give up when a store asks them to build a new account with yet another password. This plugin addresses that by placing social login options directly into your Easy Digital Downloads store. A buyer picks a social network they already use and gets access to their account without a long registration form.

The plugin is built specifically for Easy Digital Downloads, so it fits into the login and registration flow your store already has. Setup is described as a short configuration process, and the login buttons can be styled to match your branding. It suits stores selling digital products where a quick sign-in helps buyers return and complete purchases more easily.

Features

• Facebook, Twitter and Google login: Customers can sign in with the social accounts they already use, including Facebook, Twitter and Google, which gives buyers several familiar ways to reach their accounts.
• Quick configuration: The settings are laid out so you can get social login options running on your store without technical work, and the setup process is meant to take only a short time.
• Built for Easy Digital Downloads: The plugin is made to work with your Easy Digital Downloads store environment, so social login sits inside the registration and checkout flow you already have.
• Less friction at registration: Buyers avoid creating a new password and filling in lengthy forms, which makes it simpler to complete a purchase and come back to the store later.
• Mobile-friendly login buttons: Login buttons and flows are designed to work across all devices, so shoppers on phones and tablets can sign in with their social accounts as easily as on desktop.
• OAuth-based authentication: Sign-in relies on OAuth protocols, which are meant to keep user data safe while customers authenticate through their chosen social network.
• Customizable buttons and styles: You can adjust the look of the login buttons so they match your store's branding and sit comfortably within your existing design.
• Respects registration settings: When new registration is turned off in your WordPress settings, the plugin can disable new registration through social login as well, keeping your access rules consistent.
