Pie Register Profile Search

Community and membership sites often grow to a point where members cannot find each other. A site with hundreds of profiles needs a way to look people up by name, email or other criteria. This add-on adds that search to a site that already runs Pie Register, so registered users become something visitors can actually explore.

Administrators keep control of how it works. You choose where search results appear, adjust the layout of the profile result pages, and decide what user information shows right away. You can limit searching to logged-in users and hide certain people by username or role. Members can also tailor their own search settings, which helps them reach relevant profiles faster.

Features

• Dedicated search settings: A Profile Search Settings section lets administrators configure how searching behaves, so the setup matches the needs and habits of your own community.
• Member directory display: Turn on a default member directory that shows registered users in an organized list, giving visitors an easy way to browse your community.
• Flexible result placement: Choose where on your website the search results appear, so the search fits naturally into the pages your members already use.
• Custom result page design: Personalize the design and layout of the profile result pages so they match your brand and read clearly for visitors.
• Logged-in only search: Restrict profile searching to logged-in users. This protects member privacy and gives visitors a reason to register.
• User exclusion options: Hide specific users from search results by username or by assigned role, which gives you control over whose profiles can be found.
• User-adjustable search: Members can personalize their own search settings, helping them find the people they want without extra steps from administrators.
• Built for Pie Register: The add-on is designed to work with the Pie Register plugin, so profile search sits inside your existing registration setup.
