Paid Memberships Pro - Approvals Add On

Automatic registration lets anyone in, which does not suit every community. Professional associations, exclusive clubs and subscription services often need to check applicants first. This add-on places a review step between sign-up and access, so only people you approve can reach your membership content. It also helps cut down on spam registrations.

The approval workflow can be customized to match your criteria and tone. Pending, approved and rejected requests are managed from the WordPress dashboard, and emails go out to both admins and applicants as requests change status. The add-on works with Paid Memberships Pro, and you can require approval for selected levels while letting others join right away.

Features

• Manual approval of sign-ups: Administrators review each new member application and decide whether to approve it, so access to membership content stays limited to people you have vetted.
• Customizable workflow settings: Adjust the approval steps, notifications and status messages so the process reflects your organization's membership criteria and the way you communicate with applicants.
• Automated email notifications: Emails are triggered for approval requests, approvals and denials, which keeps both administrators and potential members informed without manual follow-up.
• Pending member management: View, filter and manage pending applications from your WordPress dashboard, with pending, approved and rejected requests all kept in one organized place.
• Member status visibility: Show users the approval status of their membership, so applicants can see where they stand during the sign-up process.
• Support for multiple levels: Require approval only for selected membership levels, while other tiers can still give new members instant access.
• Works with Paid Memberships Pro: The add-on fits into an existing Paid Memberships Pro setup, so approvals sit alongside the rest of your membership management.
• Spam and content protection: Moderating new members helps reduce spam registrations and keeps sensitive content behind an approval step.
