Overview

Membership sites often keep their best material behind a login, which means members have to visit the site to see anything new. This add-on lets them follow that content in their own RSS reader instead. Each member gets a personalized feed, and the feed respects the same access rules as the rest of your site.

Content is restricted by membership level, so a member on one tier sees only the feeds that tier allows. Access to the feeds follows changes in membership status, which keeps content with active members. You can also adjust the look and format of the feeds with customizable templates, and developers can use hooks and filters for further changes. It fits sites with tiered content that want to deliver updates to members directly.

Features

  • Personalized member feeds: Each member gets an RSS feed of exclusive content that they can read in their preferred RSS reader, so updates reach them without a visit to the site.
  • Level-based content restriction: Feeds are limited by membership level, so members only receive the RSS content that matches their tier.
  • Works with Paid Memberships Pro: The add-on is built for Paid Memberships Pro and fits into an existing membership site setup.
  • Customizable feed templates: Feed templates can be changed to adjust the appearance and format of your feeds so they match your brand.
  • Unlimited levels and feeds: The add-on supports unlimited membership levels and feeds, which leaves room to grow your content plan as your site expands.
  • Status-aware feed access: RSS access is managed automatically as membership status changes, so only active members receive the gated content.
  • Hooks and filters for developers: Developer-friendly hooks and filters allow advanced customization when you need the feeds to behave in a specific way.
  • Controlled feed authentication: Application passwords are accepted on member feed requests only when the Basic Authentication setting is turned on.
