Paid Memberships Pro - Email Confirmation Add On

Membership sites often collect fake or spam registrations. Those accounts clutter the member list, add moderation work and weaken trust in the community. This add-on addresses the problem at the point of sign-up. When someone registers, the site sends an email asking them to confirm that the address belongs to them.

The add-on works inside Paid Memberships Pro, so the confirmation step fits into the registration flow you already have. The message can be customized to match your brand. Members verify their email first and then gain full access, which helps keep your member database made up of real people with working addresses.

Features

• Automatic email verification: After a user registers, the add-on sends a confirmation email on its own. The member must verify the address before gaining full access, so only verified users complete sign-up.
• Built for Paid Memberships Pro: The add-on extends Paid Memberships Pro and adds email confirmation without disrupting your existing membership settings or user flows.
• Customizable confirmation emails: You can tailor the confirmation message to match your brand, so the email members receive at registration looks professional and familiar.
• Fewer fake accounts: Requiring verification blocks unwanted or malicious registrations early, which reduces the moderation and cleanup work that spam accounts create.
• A cleaner member database: Because each address is confirmed, your list of members stays authentic and made up of people who can actually receive your messages.
• Simple setup options: Configuration uses user-friendly options that suit all skill levels, so you can set up the confirmation workflow without a complex process.
• Reliable confirmation links: Confirmation links are built to validate correctly, including on sites where another plugin filters random_password, so members can complete verification.
