Recipe Compatibility for AMP

Recipe plugins often rely on features that AMP pages do not handle on their own. A recipe that looks fine on a regular page can lose its interactive parts once it is served as an AMP page. Recipe Compatibility for AMP closes that gap by adding WP Ultimate Recipe support to your AMP pages, so the recipe card stays complete and usable for mobile readers.

The extension is built for sites that publish culinary content and want it to work well on small screens. It enables compatibility for WP Ultimate Recipe automatically, which means there is little to configure. Recipes adapt to different screen sizes, from desktops to smartphones. It also works with WP Ultimate Recipe Premium, and custom compatibility for other preferred post view plugins is mentioned as a possibility.

Features

• Automatic AMP integration: Adds WP Ultimate Recipe support to your AMP pages on its own, so there is no manual setup or complex configuration to work through.
• Complete recipes on AMP pages: Full recipes appear inside AMP pages, so mobile visitors see the same recipe content your regular pages offer.
• Adjustable ingredient quantities: Readers can change ingredient amounts directly on an AMP page, which helps when they are scaling a recipe up or down.
• Print option on mobile: Visitors can print a recipe straight from a mobile device, without leaving the AMP version of the page.
• Works with WP Ultimate Recipe Premium: Designed to work with WP Ultimate Recipe Premium, and custom compatibility for other preferred post view plugins is described as available.
• Responsive recipe layout: Recipes resize to fit the screen, giving a readable, user-friendly presentation on desktops, tablets and smartphones alike.
• Ingredient changes in WP Recipe Maker: A recent fix addressed ingredients not changing in WP Recipe Maker, which points to attention on quantity adjustment across recipe plugins.
