Paid Memberships Pro - Membership Manager Role Add On

On a growing membership site, member questions and account changes pile up quickly. Giving every helper an administrator login puts the whole site at risk. This add-on solves that by introducing a membership manager role with a limited set of capabilities, so people can help members without reaching settings they do not need.

Managers can view and update member profiles and handle subscription tasks such as upgrades, cancellations and renewals. Permissions can be fine-tuned to the scope of membership management. Managers are also blocked from editing, deleting, changing the role of or switching to users with restricted roles, which by default means administrators and editors. It fits any site already running Paid Memberships Pro that has a small team sharing support work.

Features

• Custom manager roles: Assign a specific, limited role to team members so they can manage memberships without holding full administrator rights on your WordPress site.
• Granular permission controls: Fine-tune access to member data, subscription editing and account management functions so each manager has the access the job calls for.
• Member account oversight: Managers can view and update member profiles directly, which makes it easier to answer questions and fix account details without involving an administrator.
• Subscription management: Team members can handle upgrades, cancellations and renewals themselves, which reduces the number of requests that wait on a site administrator.
• Protection for restricted users: Managers cannot edit, delete, change the role of or switch to users with restricted roles, which are administrators and editors by default.
• Built for Paid Memberships Pro: The add-on works with an existing Paid Memberships Pro setup, so the manager role sits alongside the membership features you already use.
• Shared team workload: Several managers can split support and account tasks between them, which helps a team handle member requests without relying on one administrator.
