Paid Memberships Pro - State Dropdowns

Free-text location fields produce messy data. One member types a full state name, another uses an abbreviation, and a third makes a typo. Paid Memberships Pro – State Dropdowns replaces that with a pre-populated list of states or provinces, so every entry in your member database follows the same format.

The add-on works with the registration forms you already have in Paid Memberships Pro, and no coding is needed. It supports dropdowns for multiple countries and can adjust the state choices based on the country a member selects. Sites that deliver regional content, run localized promotions or offer region-specific services get cleaner location data to work from.

Features

• Pre-populated state lists: Members choose from a standardized list of states or provinces, which removes typing errors and keeps location data consistent across your membership database.
• Works with existing forms: The dropdowns fit into your current Paid Memberships Pro registration forms, and no coding is required to set them up.
• Multiple country support: State or province dropdowns are available for various countries, which helps international membership sites collect regional data in a uniform way.
• Conditional logic by country: State choices can change based on the country a member selects, so the form shows options relevant to that person.
• Valid location entries: Because members select from a fixed list, each state value is a valid one, which supports targeting for location-specific content and services.
• Simpler signup experience: Intuitive dropdown menus make it quicker to fill in the location portion of the registration form.
• Responsive dropdown design: The dropdowns adapt to different devices and screen sizes, so members can complete registration on phones, tablets and desktops.
• Use with membership levels: State data can support targeted offers or restrictions tied to geographic location across your different membership levels.
