Paid Memberships Pro - Gift Aid Add On

UK charities and nonprofits that take donations through a membership site need a clear way to collect Gift Aid consent. Doing it by hand is slow and easy to get wrong. This add on places a Gift Aid declaration in the checkout flow, so donors can opt in while they join or give, and the organization gets the information it needs for tax relief.

The add on works with your existing Paid Memberships Pro setup. Declarations are stored against each membership or donation, and you can see Gift Aid status in the membership and payment dashboards. You can adjust the checkbox and its wording to match your brand, and it covers both one-time and recurring payments. It fits charities, nonprofits and other membership-driven groups in the UK.

Features

• Gift Aid declaration at checkout: Shows a Gift Aid declaration to UK donors during checkout, so eligible supporters can opt in as part of the donation or membership signup.
• Works with Paid Memberships Pro: The add on extends an existing Paid Memberships Pro site, so Gift Aid sits inside the membership setup you already run.
• Automated record keeping: Gift Aid declarations are stored and linked to each membership or donation, which helps with reporting and keeping records for HMRC requirements.
• Customizable checkbox and messaging: Edit the Gift Aid checkbox and its wording to suit your brand and explain the benefits of Gift Aid clearly to donors.
• One-time and recurring donations: Capture Gift Aid on single donations as well as recurring payments, so ongoing supporters are covered too.
• Dashboard visibility: View and manage Gift Aid statuses directly in the Paid Memberships Pro membership and payment dashboards.
• Offsite gateway checkout handling: A member's Gift Aid opt-in is kept when an offsite gateway such as PayPal Standard completes the checkout.
• Responsive donor experience: The Gift Aid options are designed to work across devices, so donors can complete the declaration on whatever screen they use.
