Easy Digital Downloads - Download Email Attachments

Selling digital products through Easy Digital Downloads normally sends customers to a download page or account area to collect their files. Some buyers never find it, and that leads to support questions. This plugin changes the handoff by attaching the purchased files directly to the email sent after the order.

It works inside your existing EDD setup and needs no coding. You can turn attachments on or off and adjust settings in the EDD Emails settings tab. It suits stores that sell ebooks, software, music or other downloadable content, especially where a product includes several files or customers prefer to receive everything by email.

Features

• Automatic email attachments: Purchased digital files are attached to the email sent after checkout, so customers receive what they bought without logging in or visiting a separate download page.
• Works with Easy Digital Downloads: The plugin extends your existing EDD store and requires minimal configuration, with no coding knowledge needed to get attachments going.
• Multiple files per purchase: Attach several files to one email, which fits products that include more than one digital asset, such as a main file plus extras.
• Customizable email templates: Edit the email content and design so the message carrying the attachments matches your brand and the way you talk to customers.
• Fewer download questions: Because files arrive by email, customers have less reason to ask how to reach their purchases, which cuts common access-related support requests.
• Handles various file sizes: Attachments of different sizes can be sent, which makes the plugin usable for a range of digital products.
• Standard WordPress mail support: Email delivery runs through standard WordPress mail functions and works with SMTP plugins, so you can keep your current sending setup.
• Simple settings: The download attachment setting sits in the EDD Emails settings tab, where you can enable or disable attachments and adjust options in a few clicks.
