Easy Digital Downloads - Recently Viewed Items

Shoppers on a digital store often look at several products before deciding. Without a trail, they have to search again for the one they liked. This plugin keeps that trail. It records the products each visitor views and shows them in a recently viewed display, so a returning customer can pick up where they left off.

The plugin works inside an existing Easy Digital Downloads setup and adapts to each visitor's own browsing. It suits stores selling software, eBooks, music or other digital goods. You choose how and where the viewed products appear, and the layout adjusts to different screen sizes, so the list can match the rest of your site.

Features

• Automatic tracking of viewed items: The plugin records the products a visitor browses without any manual input, so the history builds up as people move around your store.
• Personalized product display: Each visitor sees their own recently viewed products, based on what they actually looked at, rather than a single list shared by everyone.
• Works with Easy Digital Downloads: It runs within your existing EDD store and does not call for complex configuration or coding knowledge.
• Customizable display options: You control how and where the recently viewed products appear, which helps the list fit your site's design and layout.
• Mobile-friendly responsive layout: The display adapts to different screen sizes, so visitors on phones, tablets and desktops can all use the list comfortably.
• Reminders of products of interest: Showing items a visitor previously viewed gives them an easy path back to products they considered, which supports repeat visits.
• Light on site resources: The plugin is designed to run efficiently, so adding a recently viewed list does not weigh down your pages.
• Supports multiple product types: It is compatible with the digital product categories that Easy Digital Downloads supports, so it fits varied catalogs.
