Overview

Many digital stores want to give visitors something to try before they buy. Doing that by hand means extra steps for you and for the customer. This plugin handles free products inside your existing Easy Digital Downloads store, so a sample, a freebie or a promotional item can sit next to your paid products and be delivered without manual work.

You choose which products are offered for free, which makes it easy to target a specific promotion. When a visitor takes a free product, a download modal guides them through the process, and the file is delivered automatically. The plugin works with remote file handling such as S3 and Dropbox, and it supports file types like eBooks, software, music and graphics. Reporting lets you track how your free downloads perform.
