Easy Digital Downloads - Acquisition Survey

Knowing where customers come from and what they want is hard when the only data you have is an order list. This plugin works inside your Easy Digital Downloads workflow and places survey questions in the checkout process, so answers are gathered at the moment of purchase without a separate form or extra step.

You build surveys from customizable templates, use conditional logic to show or hide questions based on earlier answers, and review the results in reports. Responses can be exported as CSV files, and the acquisition method also appears in the orders export. It suits stores that want practical audience data without any coding.

Features

• Checkout survey integration: Surveys are added to the Easy Digital Downloads checkout, so customer data is collected during the purchase without sending buyers to another page or tool.
• Customizable survey templates: Design surveys around your brand and goals, so you can ask the questions that matter to your store and the customers you want to understand.
• Conditional logic: Show or hide questions depending on how a customer answers, which keeps each survey relevant and shorter for the person filling it out.
• Reports and analytics: Review survey responses in reports to spot customer trends and preferences, and see which acquisition methods bring buyers to your store.
• Responsive, mobile-friendly design: Surveys are built to display and work properly on different devices, so customers can answer whether they shop on a phone, tablet or desktop.
• Multi-language and translation-ready: Offer surveys in multiple languages for an international audience. Acquisition labels are translation-ready, so the wording can match your customers' language.
• Automated follow-up actions: Trigger targeted emails or discount offers based on survey responses. An email tag for the admin order notification can also carry the survey answer.
• CSV export and display controls: Export responses as CSV for deeper analysis. You can also hide the survey for logged-in users who are already customers, and let buyers name the source when they choose other.
