Social Connect by PixelYourSite

Forms that ask for a new username and password put a hurdle in front of visitors. Social Connect removes it by letting people use a Facebook or Google account they already have. The plugin works on content sites and online stores, so the same login experience can run across the whole site.

Authentication uses the OAuth 2.0 protocol. When someone signs in, profile information from the social account can be imported to create a user profile automatically. Login buttons can be styled to match your branding, and the settings screen is built so you can set things up without writing code.

Features

• Facebook and Google login: Visitors authenticate with an existing Facebook or Google account, so they skip creating and remembering another set of credentials.
• WordPress and WooCommerce support: The plugin works on content-based websites and on WooCommerce stores, giving visitors one consistent login experience across the platform.
• OAuth 2.0 authentication: Sign-ins run through the OAuth 2.0 protocol, which is designed to protect user data privacy and keep the authentication process secure.
• Automatic profile creation: Profile information is imported from the social account to create a user profile automatically, which saves customers from filling in forms by hand.
• Customizable login buttons: You can adjust how the social login buttons look so they fit your site's branding and sit naturally in your existing design.
• No-code configuration: A user-friendly interface lets site owners set up social login without any coding knowledge, and the configuration stays easy to follow.
• Multiple linked accounts: Users can link both their Facebook and Google accounts, which gives them more than one convenient way to get back into their account.

Best for

• WooCommerce stores that want faster customer sign-ups
