Overview
Many sites hold content that is hard to show well: posts, products and custom content types that need to appear in a specific order or with specific details. Greenshift Query and Meta gives you a query builder to pick exactly which content to display, so you can set up those lists through an interface instead of custom code.
Once the content is queried, you can manage how its metadata is shown and let visitors refine the results with filters. Visibility options respond to conditions such as paginated URLs, publishing date ranges, and the number of items or total value in a cart. Developers can extend the plugin with hooks and filters, so it fits simple blogs and more custom builds alike.
Features
- Custom query builder: Build tailored queries to display exactly the content you need from your site, without writing any code.
- Filtering for visitors: Let visitors filter and refine results dynamically, which makes it easier to move through content and find what they are looking for.
- Metadata display control: Control and customize how metadata appears for posts, products or custom content types, so the details shown are the ones that matter.
- Pagination visibility check: Use a visibility option in the URL Query type to check whether the current page is paginated and show elements accordingly.
- Publish date range labels: Show special labels on posts published within a chosen range, such as the last 7 days, using a date range visibility option.
- Cart-based visibility options: Show or hide elements based on a range of items in the cart or on the value of the cart.
- Current taxonomy data in repeaters: Taxonomy List data in the repeater builder can pull inner fields of the current taxonomy page when the Current taxonomy data option is enabled.
- Hooks and filters for developers: Developers can extend the plugin through hooks and filters, while the interface stays simple for people who do not write code.
Best for
- Bloggers who want flexible post lists without coding
- Web developers needing query and metadata control
- Store owners showing product information dynamically
Changelog
Version 5.9.9.2
- Fixed Login form stayed stuck with a hidden button when a security plugin redirected the login to a two-factor step (for example Kadence or Solid Security) or the server returned an error. The form now continues to the two-factor page, and on other errors shows a message and the button again.
- Fixed Google Sheet / CSV API connector returned the rest_forbidden error instead of the sheet rows, so the field picker of dynamic elements showed only numbers and single letters. Requests to the site's own CSV route run in the same request now, and error responses (HTTP status outside 200-299) are not used or cached as rows anymore.
- Fixed Visibility conditions and Visibility block - custom field conditions with {TIMESTRING:...} failed for fields that store Unix timestamps, for example WooCommerce _sale_price_dates_from and _sale_price_dates_to. Rules like _sale_price_dates_from <= {TIMESTRING:now} and _sale_price_dates_to >= {TIMESTRING:now} work now.
- Fixed Exist / Not exist conditions failed when a {TIMESTRING:...} value was left from a previous comparison operator, and numeric ranges like 0|100 were always false.
- Fixed PHP warnings in the metaget REST route when the editor previews a Meta block of a query loop (postId 0). The latest post of the selected post type is used for the preview again.
- Fixed Translations from the plugin languages folder (for example created with Loco Translate) were not loaded because of a wrong text domain path.
- Fixed Prev / Next labels of numeric filter pagination stay translated when pagination is rendered again after an AJAX filter request.
- Fixed Filter panel keeps the meta conditions of the query block and combines them with the selected filters, and the sorting of the query block is kept until a sorting option is selected in the filter panel.
- Fixed Site option bindings can read the values of fields registered on ACF and ACPT option pages by their option names again (options_my_field, box_field).
- Fixed Numeric dynamic values (for example ACF image IDs) are returned as strings to the editor, and empty ACPT repeater data no longer throws warnings.
