FacetWP - Blocks

Long lists of posts or products are hard to browse. Visitors want to narrow a listing by category, tag, price or a custom attribute, and many sites give them no way to do it. FacetWP – Blocks adds that ability to native WordPress blocks, so filters sit right next to the listing they control.

You build and style the facets inside the familiar block editor. The plugin works with blocks such as Query Loop and Latest Posts, and it runs on both classic and block themes. Filtering happens through AJAX, so results update without a page reload. It fits blogs, resource sites and online stores, and WooCommerce product filtering is available in beta.

Features

• Filters inside native blocks: Faceted filtering attaches to WordPress blocks such as Query Loop, Latest Posts and post listings, so you can set everything up without leaving the block editor.
• Real-time AJAX filtering: Visitors refine a listing and see updated results right away, with no page reload between each choice.
• Classic and block themes: The plugin works with both classic and block-based WordPress themes, which makes it usable across many different site layouts.
• WooCommerce product filtering: Faceted search can be applied to WooCommerce products so shoppers can narrow a catalog. This support is currently in beta.
• Many facet types: Choose from checkboxes, dropdowns, sliders, date range, star ratings and more, so the filter controls match the kind of content you list.
• Page builder compatibility: Filters can be placed inside layouts made with page builders such as Elementor, Beaver Builder and Bricks.
• Developer hooks and filters: Extensive hooks let developers customize and extend the plugin and connect it with other plugins and themes for custom solutions.
• Responsive filter display: Facets are designed to look and work on both mobile and desktop screens, so filtering stays usable on any device.
