User Registration Social Connect

Long registration forms and extra passwords put people off joining a site. This plugin adds social login so visitors can register with an account they already have. It pulls profile details from the social account, which cuts down the typing and lets an account be created with no extra input from the user.

It works as an add-on for the User Registration plugin, so it fits alongside the registration and login forms you build there. You choose which social platforms appear and whether new users are registered automatically or added on your terms. Four icon templates let you style the login buttons to suit your site.

Features

• Social media login: Visitors can sign up and log in with their Facebook, Twitter, Google or LinkedIn accounts instead of filling out a standard registration form.
• Automatic profile data import: User details are pulled from the social profile when someone connects, which reduces form filling and speeds up the creation of a new account.
• Auto-registration for first-time users: First-time social login users can be registered automatically, so they become members straight away without any additional steps on their side.
• Auto-registration on or off: You decide whether social users are added as new members automatically or not, so you keep control over how accounts are created.
• Selectable social platforms: Pick which social login options appear on your site, so the buttons shown match the networks your audience actually uses.
• Four social icon designs: Choose from four icon templates for the social login buttons, so they can match your site's branding and overall design.
• Works with User Registration forms: The add-on combines with the User Registration plugin, which you use to build customizable registration and login forms for your site.
