Alike – WordPress Custom Post Comparison

Directory and catalog sites often hold many similar items, such as properties, cars or products. Visitors have to open each page and keep the details in their heads. Alike gives them one table where the differences and similarities sit next to each other, which makes a choice easier to reach.

You decide what the table shows with a logic builder. It reads custom taxonomies, terms and metadata from your content, so the table fits your own site structure. Settings are handled in a panel that needs no coding. You can pick one of two table designs and set the image dimensions to keep the look consistent with your theme.

Features

• Works with any post type: Compare standard posts, products, properties, cars or any custom post type, so one plugin can cover every kind of listing on your site.
• Flexible logic builder: Build comparison tables by choosing the custom taxonomies, terms and metadata you want to show, so each table reflects the data your content already holds.
• Dynamic comparison tables: Tables draw on your existing content fields, so they match your niche and site structure instead of following a fixed template of rows.
• Two table designs: Choose between two comparison table layouts to suit your theme and the way you want visitors to read the results.
• Custom image sizing: Set the exact image dimensions used in comparison tables, which keeps pictures consistent from one item to the next.
• No-code settings panel: Configure comparison logic, design preferences and display options from a settings panel, without writing any code.
• Suited to directory sites: Fits real estate, automotive, e-commerce and other directory-style sites where visitors choose between many similar listings.
• Guides and live demos: Detailed documentation and live demos show how comparison tables are set up, which helps you get your first table working quickly.
