Reading Time – Reading Progress Bar for WordPress

Long articles can leave readers guessing how much is left. This plugin answers that with a slim bar that fills as visitors scroll down a post or page. It suits blogs, long-form articles and any page where content depth matters, and it gives readers clear feedback while they read.

The bar works with any WordPress theme and adapts to desktops, tablets and smartphones. You choose from several styles and set the colors, height and position so it matches your branding. You can also limit the bar to specific pages or posts, so it appears only where it makes sense. Setup needs no coding.

Features

• Animated scroll tracking: The progress bar moves dynamically as readers scroll, showing how far through the content they are and how much remains on the page.
• Eight distinct styles: Pick from 8 bar styles, then adjust the colors, height and position to fit your site's design and branding.
• Selective page targeting: Show the progress bar only on the pages or posts you choose, which gives you control over where it appears.
• Responsive on every device: The bar adapts to desktops, tablets and smartphones, and it is optimized for touch interfaces and mobile browsers.
• Works with any theme: The plugin is built to fit into any WordPress theme, so you can add a reading indicator without changing your design.
• Broad browser support: It supports major browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, IE8+ and mobile browsers, so visitors get consistent behavior.
