Overview
Search forms with many filters can overwhelm visitors. When every facet is visible at once, people face options that do not apply to what they are looking for. This add-on addresses that by letting you set rules that decide which facets appear, based on user selections, page states or custom criteria.
You build the rules inside FacetWP, and the add-on handles the showing and hiding on the page. It works with FacetWP's facet types and with page builders such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, Bricks and Breakdance. That makes it a fit for sites that want a cleaner, more relevant filtering interface without writing custom code.
Features
- Rule-based facet visibility: Show or hide facets dynamically with custom rules, so the search filters a visitor sees match the choices they have made and the context of the page.
- Multiple conditions per ruleset: Combine several conditions in a single ruleset to control facet visibility precisely, which supports more complex logic when a simple one-condition rule is not enough.
- Custom selector action triggers: Target specific facets or other page elements with custom selectors, so you can fine-tune what appears and when without extra development work.
- Works with FacetWP facet types: The add-on is built to work alongside FacetWP's core and add-on facet types, so behavior stays consistent across the filters on your site.
- Page builder compatibility: Apply conditional logic on pages made with Elementor, Beaver Builder, Bricks, Breakdance and other builders to create dynamic, easy-to-follow search pages.
- Empty facet targeting: Use the empty selector option ($EMPTY) to control visibility for facets that have no results, which keeps the search form clear for visitors.
- Hooks and filters for developers: Advanced hooks and filters let developers customize or extend how the conditional logic behaves, giving closer control and room for integration.
Best for
- Directory and catalog sites with many search filters
- Developers building custom FacetWP search interfaces
- Site owners using Elementor, Bricks or Beaver Builder
