FacetWP - Cache

FacetWP lets visitors narrow down content or products with filters. Complex filtering queries can slow a page, particularly on busy sites with a lot of data. The add-on addresses this by storing filtering results in a dedicated database cache, which shortens response times and reduces the load on the server.

It is built around the AJAX requests that FacetWP uses for filtering. When a common combination of facet choices comes up again, the stored result is returned without recomputing it. Cache entries are refreshed as content or facets change, so results stay accurate while the site handles more visitors using filters.
