WPAdverts (Core Plugin)

Running a classifieds site on WordPress usually means piecing together forms, listing pages and user accounts. WPAdverts (Core Plugin) bundles these into one plugin. Pages are created automatically and option panels guide the setup, so a local marketplace, a service directory or a community listing board can take shape without complex configuration.

Visitors can browse ads in a grid or list layout, and both registered and guest users can post. Posters add images with drag and drop, then edit or delete their own ads from the frontend. A built-in payments module tracks transactions and supports bank transfers, and extra features can be added through extension packs. The plugin is written to WordPress coding standards, so it stays lightweight on modest hosting.

Features

• Grid and list views: Ads can be shown in a grid or a list, and visitors can switch between the two layouts to browse listings the way they prefer.
• Registered and guest posting: Logged-in users and anonymous visitors can both submit classified ads, which keeps the barrier to posting low for your audience.
• Frontend ad management: Users can edit, browse and delete their own ads from the frontend, so site owners do not need to handle every change by hand.
• Built-in payments module: Track transactions and user payments inside WordPress. Bank transfers are supported, and expired ads can be renewed with an automatic charge.
• Drag-and-drop image upload: Posters add photos to their listings by dragging images into the form, which makes it quick to build ads with pictures and descriptions.
• Customizable styling editor: Adjust the look of your classifieds to match your theme without writing code. The layout is responsive, so ads display well on any screen size.
• Gutenberg blocks: Classifieds Categories, Manage Classifieds and Classifieds List blocks let you assemble classifieds pages in the block editor.
• Translation support: The plugin supports 12 languages, including French, German, Spanish and Portuguese, so you can run a classifieds site for a local or international audience.
