Classipress for AMP

ClassiPress is a WordPress theme for building classified ads websites. Running it with AMP takes extra work, because theme features need to stay valid in the AMP format. Classipress for AMP is a compatibility extension that handles this, so your ad pages can be served as AMP pages on phones and tablets.

The plugin covers the parts of ClassiPress that visitors use most, including the single ad image gallery and the related listings section. It is designed to work with other AMP plugins such as AMP by Automattic. Setup needs minimal configuration, which suits site owners who want AMP on a classifieds site without rebuilding the theme.

Features

• AMP support for ClassiPress: Adds compatibility between the ClassiPress theme and AMP, so your classified ads site can serve AMP pages while keeping its core listing functionality.
• Single ad image slider: Single ad pages get a gallery with an image slider, so visitors can look through several pictures per listing on a mobile screen.
• Related ad listings: A related ads section displays the latest and related listings in a grid layout, giving visitors more ads to browse from any single ad page.
• Works with AMP by Automattic: Designed to run alongside AMP by Automattic and other popular AMP plugins, which gives you flexibility in how you set up AMP on your site.
• Typed Elements shortcode support: Compatibility extends to the Classipress Typed Elements shortcode, so content built with it can be handled in your AMP setup.
• Searchbar shortcode support: The Classipress Searchbar shortcode is also supported, which helps keep the search area usable on AMP versions of your pages.
• Light setup: AMP can be enabled with minimal configuration, and the extension is built to stay lightweight instead of adding bloat to the site.
