WordPress Real Media Library

A default media library gets hard to use once it holds hundreds of images, videos and PDFs. Files pile up in one long list, and finding a single one means scrolling or searching. This plugin gives that library a folder structure, so each file sits where you expect it.

You create folders and nested subfolders, then drag files into them. Related items can be grouped into collections or galleries for use in posts and pages. It works inside the familiar WordPress media interface, and different user roles can be given access to folders based on permissions you define. It suits blogs, portfolios, online stores and team-run sites.

Features

• Drag-and-drop folder management: Sort media files by dragging them into folders. The interface sits inside your WordPress dashboard, so organizing files feels like a natural part of the media library.
• Unlimited folders and subfolders: Build the structure you need with as many folders as you want, including nested subfolders, so you can categorize media in as much detail as your site requires.
• Collections and galleries: Group related media files into collections or galleries. This makes them easier to find and simpler to present within your posts or pages.
• Works in the media library: The plugin runs within the native WordPress media library interface, so you keep your existing workflow and manage folders where you already handle files.
• Support for many media types: Organize images, videos, audio files, PDFs and other common media formats together, so every kind of file can live in one organized place.
• Multi-user permissions: Let different user roles access and manage folders based on permissions you define, which helps teams share a media library without everyone seeing everything.
• Bulk select and move: Select several files at once and move them into a folder in one step, which saves time when you are tidying a large library.
• Page builder compatibility: The plugin is described as compatible with page builders and other popular WordPress plugins, so media organization can fit alongside the tools you already use.
