MediaPress - Downloadable Media

Sites built on MediaPress often show media that visitors want to keep or reuse. Without a download option, they have to find workarounds. This plugin adds that option inside your existing MediaPress setup, so the experience stays consistent for members and visitors, and your current galleries keep working as they are.

You control the details. Download buttons and links can be customized to match your design, and role-based permissions decide who may download. A backend screen lets admins configure download settings, and tracking support shows which files people download most. It suits community platforms, portfolios and multimedia blogs.

Features

• Built for MediaPress: The plugin works with BuddyDev's MediaPress framework, so downloads can be enabled without disrupting your existing setup or changing how your galleries behave.
• Several media types: Downloads cover images, videos, audio and documents, so one plugin handles the different kinds of content shared on your site.
• Customizable download buttons: Download buttons and links can be adjusted so they blend with your site's design while still doing their job clearly.
• Role-based access control: Restrict or grant download permissions by user role, which gives you control over who can save your media files.
• Responsive behavior: Visitors can download media on desktops, tablets and mobile devices, so the feature works across the screens your audience uses.
• Simple admin management: A backend interface lets site admins monitor and configure download settings without a complicated setup.
• Download analytics: Tracking support helps you see which media files are downloaded most, giving a clearer view of what your audience is interested in.
