Restrict Content Pro - Restrict Past Content

Membership sites often publish new material freely and want the back catalog reserved for paying members. Doing that by hand, post by post, takes time. This plugin handles it with rules based on publish dates, so older posts and pages can be restricted while recent ones stay open to every visitor.

It plugs into Restrict Content Pro, so restrictions follow the membership setup you already have. You can tie rules to user roles or membership levels, and exclude individual posts or pages when something should stay public. Settings live in a dashboard made for adjusting content visibility without fuss.

Features

• Works with Restrict Content Pro: The plugin is built to run alongside your existing Restrict Content Pro membership system, so past-content rules sit within the same setup you already use.
• Date-based restriction: Restrict every post and page published before a date you choose, which protects historical content without touching what you publish from that point on.
• Custom access rules: Tailor restrictions to specific user roles or membership levels, so only authorized users can read the past content you have locked.
• Automated lockdown: Set your rules once and the plugin enforces them on aging content automatically, so you do not need to restrict each new batch of older posts yourself.
• Exclude specific content: Pick individual posts or pages to leave out of the restriction rules, which keeps precise control over what stays visible in your content library.
• Simple settings dashboard: Adjust content visibility controls from an intuitive dashboard that keeps setting up and changing your restriction rules clear and manageable.
• Archive access for members: Offer exclusive access to previously published material as a reason for visitors to join a membership or renew an existing one.
