Overview
Long forms lose people. A job application, a survey or a registration form can take more time or information than a visitor has on hand, and closing the tab means starting over. Everest Forms Save and Continue addresses that by letting users pause partway through and keep what they have already entered.
When a visitor saves a partial entry, the plugin generates a personalized link for that person. Opening the link later brings back their saved inputs so they can pick up where they stopped. It is built for Everest Forms, so it works within the forms you already create there and suits sites that collect detailed responses over multiple sessions.
Features
- Save partial entries anytime: Visitors can save their form progress at any point, so the information they have entered is kept during longer form interactions.
- Unique resume links: Each user automatically receives a personalized link that lets them access their saved form and continue it when they are ready.
- Built for Everest Forms: The add-on is made specifically for Everest Forms, so it fits into forms you already build there without requiring technical expertise.
- Support for long, complex forms: It suits surveys, job applications, registration forms and other multi-step forms that need extended time to complete.
- Completion across sessions: Users can fill in a form at their own pace over several visits, which reduces the chance of people abandoning it midway.
- Secure progress storage: Saved progress is stored securely to help safeguard sensitive information and maintain data privacy standards.
- Simple save and continue process: The save and return steps are easy for visitors to follow, giving them a straightforward experience when they come back to a form.
- Spam checks on saved submissions: Honeypot, reCAPTCHA and Akismet checks are enforced when a visitor submits through Save and Continue, keeping that path protected like the rest of your form.
