GeoDirectory Ajax Duplicate Alert

Directories fill up with repeat entries when users submit a business that is already listed. Cleaning those up by hand takes time and leaves the data less reliable. This add-on checks fields such as the post title, address, zip or post code, phone number and email address against your existing listings. When it finds a match, the user sees an alert while still on the form, so the duplicate never reaches your database.

The checks run through Ajax, so feedback appears without a page reload. Administrators choose which fields are checked and can write a message for each field or use one general notice. With the Custom Post Type add-on, each post type can have its own check settings and messages. It requires the GeoDirectory core plugin, and it suits both a single directory and several of them.
